When choosing a suitcase, it's important to consider both the material and the size, as these factors significantly impact the durability, weight, and capacity of your luggage. Shopping for a suitcase might seem reasonably straight forward and it is but there are a few things you should keep in mind. The first thing you need to realise is that of course not all bags are made the same. Lucky for you all of the  suitcases are top quality no matter which one that you pick! Suitcase Materials:

Suitcases are primarily made from two types of materials: ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) and PP (Polypropylene).

ABS suitcases:

These are a good quality hard case suitcase that are light and strong. They are suitable for up to 8 trips per year so they are good for the occasional traveler. We would usually recommend these for cabin suitcases and cabin bags area although they are good quality, they are not quite as strong as the PP suitcase range.

PP suitcases:

These cases are very strong and also very light. These are recommended for the more frequent traveler as they can take a bit more abuse than the ABS cases.  We would also recommend these in the XL range as they are stronger and due to the weight that these suitcases can take, the PP range is what we would recommend.

All of our suitcases go through strict quality control so you cannot go wrong with either however if you do travel a lot we would point you towards the PP range.

    • Carries: Approx. 15 - 20 kg
